Below is a description of what this page will be like once completed

The purpose of this page will be to provide people with a sample "Moment of Silence" experience.

A paragraph setting the mood.. (rough sketch): You are in your normal busy daily routine, worrying about tasks you need to finish for work, things you need to do when you get home, why did that car cut me off this morning, etc.. Now, it's 1:42, and time for a weekly moment of silence. Visualize a place where people are busy doing their jobs, with the commotion and noise of your daily routine , now press play to hear audio:

The audio file begins with background noise of indistinguishable discusisons (could be an office, a cafe, or some other huma inhabited environment).. then a voice over the intercom... Attention, please join us in our moment of silence. Today we will be reflecting on a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, please listen and reflect on how this relates to conflicts in your own lives... (Next the quote or speech excerpt is played, for example):

“Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him.” MLK

After the quote, a minute of silence, then the voice comes over the intercom again with something like "thank you". (or more?)

For people without speakers, a description of the tape would be written below the audio file, possibly with some sort of visual cue at the end of the minute (but not a countdown clock, since the point is not to watch a clock countdown).
