Based in Seattle, we will start promoting the moment of silence in the Northwest Region, then continue to grow, with the hopes of gaining international participation in the not too distant future.
How will we do this?
- To get the word out, we will be aggressively pursuing grants, volunteers, donated ad space, and free publicity (wherever we can find it)
- We will convince companies of all sorts and sizes to participate, from corporate giants to local coffee shops. Many people in the workforce spend at least 1/3 of their life on the job. Therefore attitude within companies is a major affect on our attitude as a society. We need cooperation from companies. And statistics on violence in the workplace show that companies need us!
-
Most of all, we will do this with your support! We need your help, and the support and help of your neighbors!
